Jade the Nightmare is a Denver-born alternative vocalist, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist carving out her own space at the intersection of gothic music, metal, hip-hop, and dark art. Known for her haunting vocals, aggressive delivery, theatrical performances, and unapologetically unconventional aesthetic, Jade's work exists somewhere between vulnerability and violence, beauty and grotesquerie, darkness and gold.

Rather than conforming to a single genre, Jade has coined her sound Gothhop—a volatile fusion of gothic atmosphere, alternative rock, metal intensity, hip-hop rhythm, and raw emotional storytelling. Her music moves fluidly between ethereal melodies, hypnotic production, hard-hitting rap passages, powerful clean vocals, screams, and visceral lyrical themes. The result is a sound that feels equally at home in a dark club, a metal stage, or an underground hip-hop venue.

Jade's recent era has expanded beyond music into a larger creative universe through Gothhop Empire Entertainment, the independent label and creative collective she founded to champion alternative voices and underground artistry.

In 2025, Jade released her album Is There Love in the Afterlife?, a haunting exploration of love, mortality, spirituality, loss, and what remains beyond the physical world. The project reflects the duality at the center of her artistry—beautiful yet unsettling, intimate yet explosive, ethereal yet heavy. Her recent releases continue to explore that space, including songs such as "how to kill a gentle soul", a deeply atmospheric examination of uncertainty, intimacy, and betrayal

Jade has performed at Gorefest, bringing her genre-defying sound and theatrical energy to audiences within Denver's alternative and underground music community. On June 20, 2026, she took the stage at the Wagoon Wheel showcase, where she unveiled her newest creative venture: Dark Art Golden Heart, her independent clothing line.
